A artista Carly Waito nasceu em Manitouwadge em 1981 e cresceu em Thunder Bay. Com graduação na faculdade Ontario College of Art and Design, Waito fundou um estúdio de arte em cerâmica e design, chamado de Coe&Waito com Alissa Coe em 2005.
